cmBuilder is an extremely good medium to communicate what is happening when on site to anyone. I have used it in precontract tender planning and sequencing, traffic management and logistical plans, and for construction planning and space proofing.

My favourite use to date was to use cmBuilder as a communication tool to demonstrate to our client and the city council the progressive opening of a public river walkway which is a part of our project.

The user interface is well thought out and very intuitive to use, I have gotten many Project Engineers and Site Managers started in cmBuilder who had very little BIM experience prior, and they are all loving the tool and especially the resource library.

Finally, the cmBuilder Team, I have not received the same level of support and communication from any other software vendor. cmBuilder is a phenomenal tool, supported by an even better team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the interests of being completely honest and transparent, there are times where I am on a slow network and cmBuilder has a bit of lag, that is not their fault at all, it is just an occasional frustration. CM Builder enables us to plan projects efficiently in collaboration with both owners and subcontractors. The days of relying on 2D site utilization plans—which often led to confusing markups and overlooked important details—are behind us. cmBuilder.io makes it easy to visualize complex construction logistics in 3D. I like how quickly I can create crane layouts, hoarding, access roads, and phasing sequences. The interface is user-friendly and cloud-based, so I can update and share models anytime. The animation tools are also great for presentations and tender submissions. Sometimes the loading speed is slow for large models. It would be better if object snapping and alignment tools were more precise, like in BIM software. It's a very easy-to-use, intuitive program. From a VDC perspective, it has powerful uses for marketing/proposals. The team constantly makes improvements and allows users to have input into the process. I use this program for every single project I am involved in. I've been using CM Builder for just over a year now and have been incredibly impressed by its ease of use, graphics, paramtric resources and support from the CM Builder team. It has been game changing in terms of it's ability to integrate with Google maps and import 3D models to help stakeholders from all sides visualise construction methodologies and sequencing. It has become something I use everyday and I now try and integrate it into all of my projects. The CM Builder team have been incredibly supportive and responsive and helped develop training tailored to our organisational requirements thereby creating a really powerful tool that is extremely accessible for our project teams.
